The best austrian posters |
link |
23:30 |
The Austrian Poster Price 2004 has recently been awarded at the 21. GEWISTA poster party. The jury chose a McDonalds poster for the Platinum award from about 1000 austrian posters and 400 City Light posters, and selected about a dozen more posters for further awards. One of my favorites is a Palmers-Poster for invisible underware!
On the other hand, the jury at this year's International Poster Biennale in Warsaw found no commercial poster worthy of a prize. Obviously, some poster continents are drifting apart more and more.
