Alexander Faldin was quite surprised when he saw a recent magazine cover from the Guardian, as it looked quite similar to a poster that he had designed long ago. So were the editors of
KAK magazine, who diplomatically suggest that miracles do sometimes happen, and two designers do sometimes have the same idea independently, but also add "But Faldin we love and value". Faldin's poster was a front page poster on the Poster Page in February 2002, so anyway he is
faster than the Guardian, his picture has a
higher quality, and is much
stronger than their cover, or in latin "citius... altius... fortius".
